MID AMERICA LEAGUE ANNOUNCES TEXARKANA, TX AS THE NEWEST MEMBER
The Mid America League, a premier summer development baseball league, is announcing Texarkana as the newest member of the Mid America League. Texarkana joins Abilene, Sherman, and White Oak in Texas as well as Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Joplin, Missouri as inaugural teams.
Matt Perry, President of the Mid America League, said, “Texarkana offers a solid market and great geographic fit with 150,000 people in the metro area and a quality facility in George Dobson Field. We are excited to return a summer baseball franchise to the market.
