JACK SKINNER

Skinner becomes the second manager in the team’s history. He takes the helm after serving last season as the pitching coach for the Rhinos. Skinner is currently in his third season as Assistant Coach with the Texas A&M – Texarkana Eagles. Born and raised in Hoquiam, WA, he attended Grays Harbor College as a C / OF in Aberdeen Washington during the 2017 & 18 spring season, then continued his playing career at TAMUT. Coach Skinner finished his playing career in the Spring of 2022, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice, and set the schools single season stolen base record in 2021 and 2022, also acheiving schools career stolen base record.

MIKE WILSON

Coach Wilson returns to the Rhinos for his second season as an assistant coach. The Phoenix, Arizona native played at the perennial powerhouse Mountain Ridge High School. As a draft prospect for the Philadelphia Phillies in 2004, he won a National Championship while playing for Team USA 18U in Australia.

His college career began at the University of the Southwest in Hobbs, New Mexico, before transferring to Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida.

In 2006, he left college to enlist in the Army. On active duty from 2006 – 2011, Wilson conducted multiple military operations in Iraq as a Designated Marksman with the 1st Armored Division from 2009-2010. With NCAA eligibility left, he returned to baseball, playing for California State University at Monterey Bay before a professional stint with the Yuma Scorpions in the North American League.

In 2012, he re-enlisted in the Army, working as a member of the Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command within the Special Operations community. In 2019, Coach Wilson left the Army and now resides in Bloomburg, Texas.

Coach Wilson holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration, a Master’s Degree in
Emergency Management and Homeland Security, a Postgraduate Executive Certificate in Strategic
Leadership, and currently a Doctoral Student in Strategic Leadership. Working for the Department of
Veterans Affairs, Coach Wilson can devote his summers to the Rhinos.
